An Elutron® Underground Tank incorporates a jacketed encasement for corrosion protection, 360° secondary containment and interstitial monitoring. Elutron® Products Feature:
▪Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) laminate maintains its solid seamless integrity regardless of temperature extremes.
▪Aluminum foil accommodates minimum clearance, free-flowing, 360° interstice.
▪The foil forms a cathodic protections system around the primary fuel tank in the event of water entry.
▪A steel tube allows access to monitor interstitial space. Flat heads, combined with reduced back-fill set-backs amount to a 25-30% reduction in back-fill materials needed than with same size FRP tanks.
▪ An optional non-corroding collar provides solid attachments for piping containment sumps.
